Dominion Dealer Solutions Announces New ‘Inventory Health’ Tool

With used inventory predicted to loosen this year, Dominion Dealer Solutions revealed Tuesday an addition to its Dominion Inventory suite.
The company contends the new Inventory Health offering gives “dealers a quick way to identify areas needing improvement, monitor progress and improve inventory performance.”
“We are excited to offer this new value-added service to every Dominion Inventory customer,” said Jennifer Ryan, director of inventory solutions for Dominion Dealer Solutions. “With Inventory Health, dealers can instantly drive better online merchandising and inventory results — at a glance and within seconds.”
The new program works to alert dealers to areas of inventory deficiency through a grading score (A, B, C, D, F), while also comparing their scores to those of similar dealers, the company explained.
These grades also include recommendations for improvement “as well as future monitoring of the dealer’s inventory progress.”
The scores are based on vehicle data such as analytics, pricing, equity, mileage, warranty, trim level, videos, photos, inventory distribution and vehicle descriptions.
Greg Polen, senior product manager for Dominion Inventory Solutions, added, “The addition of Inventory Health adds a proactive and predictive element to our inventory offering to really empower dealers based on best practices as well as in-market dealers.”
Dominion Dealer Solutions will roll out Inventory Health to all current Dominion Inventory dealers beginning in March.
