Dominion Dealer Solutions Offers New Video & Automated Tools to Market Online Inventory

Used inventory seems to be loosening up as 2013 gets underway, and many dealers now have the time to turn their focus towards marketing their quality, used vehicles, especially in the online space. In an effort to help this process along, Dominion Dealer Solutions revealed this week a new commenting tool for vehicle inventory which aims to help dealers tell each car’s story.
The company contends the Dominion StoryBuilder tool gives dealers a “quick and efficient way to transform vehicle description data into real-time, engaging commentary for online car shoppers.”
How does it work?
By leveraging the company’s existing inventory platform, the new offering combines data analytics with artificial intelligence and consumer-tested narrative to try and tap into what is proven to catch a buyer’s eye.
Data analytics include dealer and vehicle information, third-party reviews, crash test results, certifications, warranty status, Cafax history and fuel-economy rankings.
And the tool is completely automated, making no more work for the dealer or dealership staff.
The company also shared this it tool is always evolving and being improved upon.
“Based on the adaptive and intelligent strength of this system and Dominion’s ability expand existing resources, new content is continually added to this solution. Dominion StoryBuilder is constantly optimizing — targeting new content needs based on feedback or opportunity and increasing narrative variability,” stated Jennifer Ryan, director of inventory solutions for Dominion Dealer Solutions.
In other news released this week, Dominion Dealer Solutions is also offering live videos to attract potential buyers to dealer lots. The new tool, Dominion’s Live Video, uses interior and exterior video footage to show off inventory as well as unique vehicle descriptors, allowing dealers to show off their cars with a 360-degree view for online shoppers.
The 60-second vehicle videos come with a human voice announcer, vehicle descriptors and customized video branding for the dealer, the company shared.
Dominion’s Live Videos can be distributed to any “customer touch points” such as GetAuto.com YouTube, Cars.com and AutoTrader.com.
“This new service provided by Dominion Dealer Specialties’ 400 certified lot professionals ensures that rich vehicle video content can be created for any dealer,” said Glen Garvin, vice president for Dominion Dealer Specialties. “The ability to capture customized video for all new and used vehicles is a great addition to our suite of offerings for lot services.”
