Within a few days of announcing that it will host its first in-person event in September, the Electronic Secure Title and Registration Transformation Coalition added to its advisory board.
The newest member of the eSTART advisory board is Beth Caro, who also is president and CEO of the National Independent Vehicle Title Agents Organization (NIVTA).
Officials from eSTART highlighted that Caro is a veteran of the vehicle title and registration industry, bringing more than two decades of experience, leadership, and advocacy to the table.
As the head of NIVTA and president of Auto Tag Connect, eSTART said Caro has championed the role of third-party title agents in making registration processes more accessible, efficient, and secure.
“Her perspective as both an independent operator and a coalition builder aligns strongly with eSTART’s mission to modernize titling and registration through open collaboration,” the organization said in an industry message.
Caro first cultivated industry experience at her family’s independent dealership in Maryland. Later, Caro helped to establish one of the first agencies in Maryland to offer onsite title and registration services across state lines.
“Through her leadership at NIVTA, Beth has worked to unite state affiliates, dealership agents, business members, and DMVs with the shared goal of improving policy, training, and operations,” eSTART continued. “NIVTA has been a natural and active partner in the eSTART community, and Beth’s addition to the advisory board only strengthens our shared commitment to fostering collaboration across the industry.”
