Widewail has added an experienced hand to its sales leadership.
Brad Bowers, whose 40-plus years in the auto industry includes roles from dealerships to global manufacturers to software companies, has joined the customer intelligence and reputation management platform as national sales director for OEMs and partnerships.
In a news release, Widewail said Bowers is “uniquely positioned to drive critical initiatives for enterprise customers.” In his new role, he’ll focus on building OEM relationships and leading educational programs, the company said, using its intelligence to turn raw customer sentiment into insights necessary to improve the OEM customer experience.

“At Widewail, we believe success in today’s environment comes from those who truly listen to and act on the voice of their customers,” CEO Cuyler Owens said. “Brad’s background at every level of the automotive industry gives him the unique perspective needed to lead strategic partnerships and drive results for our enterprise clients.”
Bowers comes to Widewail after five years with dealership software provider CDK Global, serving most recently as director of OEM analytics and business development, responsible for insights that improved retail performance for OEMs. His resume also includes 15 years with Volvo in various roles, including vice president of dealer development for North America, and stints as president and owner of General Motors and Stellantis dealerships.
“Companies today are overwhelmed with data,” he said. “Technology has made it very easy to turn data into information. However, information without actions is just trivia. I’m excited to join Widewail and work on turning customer sentiment into customer intelligence to help OEMs improve their customer experience.”
