Insurance Auto Auctions Launches Title Management & Tracker Tool Suite

The challenges of title procurement are being addressed via a new product offering from Insurance Auto Auctions.
IAA this week announced its launch of a suite of full- and self-service, patent-pending title procurement tools, called IAA Title Management and Title Tracker.
Developed in collaboration with insurance companies, IAA said its research has led to streamlined and customizable solutions that can reduce the time needed to secure a vehicle title and sell the vehicle at an IAA auction.
Tom O’Brien, IAA's chief executive officer, said, “As a company focused on helping our clients best manage the entire salvage disposition process, we understand the challenges title procurement can create. These issues directly affect our customers’ returns and cycle time.
“Our new solutions provide users with access to a comprehensive and efficient approach to title procurement, and allow for the choice of self-service or full service solutions to meet their specific needs,” he continued.
The company went on to break down the tools in more detail.
For the full-service offering — IAA Title Management — the company said its industry relationships with lien holders and state DMVs and experience with state abandonment laws can ensure timely procurement of lien and non-lien titles as well as resolution of problem titles. Other product benefits can include minimizing IT spending, reducing rental and staffing expenses and improving speed to insured payments, the company said.
In self-service offerings, IAA clients can self-manage the title procurement process within Title Tracker, which resides within salvage management tool CSAToday.
Workflow-based, Title Tracker is fully integrated into IAA’s systems and can be fed data manually or from a total loss worksheet, the company said, and can be utilized even before assigning the vehicle to IAA.
