Technology meets marketing in a new joint venture announced this week by AutoAlert Inc. and The Ready Group.

Boyd Warner, chief executive officer of AutoAlert, made the partnership announcement, noting a joint venture with Boston-based strategic automotive marketing agency The Ready Group LLC.

The new entity is called DirectAlert LLC, which company officials said will offer every AutoAlert client the ability to tap into a suite of IntelligentMarketing solutions that use AutoAlert data.

“Although AutoAlert’s best practice is to ensure that our dealer-clients always rely upon our scripted and personalized phone outreach communications to every customer, we were struck by the power of The Ready Group’s ability to communicate offers specific to every customer with a compelling message and beautiful creative that is perfectly aligned with our data set,” Warner said.

“Even more exciting is the fact that the average campaign consists of 3,600 direct mail pieces, yet nets on average a 1,400-percent ROI, which is astonishing,” Warner added.

Founder and CEO of The Ready Group Dan Ready, has worked to provide strategic marketing solutions to automotive retailers, manufacturers and distributors for more than 18 years. He will maintain his role as CEO of The Ready Group while operating as chief marketing officer for AutoAlert.

DirectAlert shares offices in Irvine, Calif. with AutoAlert, and also operates from Boston.
