OnlineDrive Introduces Patent-Pending ‘Instant’ Gift Card Incentives Program

Online Drive this week announced the launch of its new patent-pending gift card incentive process, which the company says offers dealership customers instant delivery of a selection of quality gift card incentives that can help stores boost their closing ratios.
“Instant delivery means the customer gets what was promised to them immediately, when they enter the store. That’s why we’re seeing closing ratios so much higher in the dealerships using this product,” said Larry Bruce, president and chief executive officer of ShowroomMagnet, which is owned by Online Drive.
“It also means the store spends no time fielding customer calls and complaints about missing or late gift cards in the mail,” he said. “In this age of digital everything, instant gratification has taken on a new meaning. I can’t imagine a dealership having to explain why the customer has to wait seven to ten days to get a promised gift card.”
ShowroomMagnet offers more than 150 gift card brands for selection by dealership customers, the company said, including cards from Best Buy, Amazon.com, iTunes, Gap and Home Depot.
“A good variety of gift cards is the key to increased shows and conversions in the dealership,” Bruce said. “In addition, we take away the worry of managing the cards or the brands rules. It’s taken care of electronically.”
Bruce said the company is confident regarding patent approval for the ShowroomMagnet eGift card process, per “positive communication” with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
