STELLA Automotive AI, a provider of artificial intelligence-powered dealership customer engagement technology, has appointed Fred Seidelman as chief technology officer.

In a news release, the company said Seidelman will drive its technology strategy, product innovation and platform scalability.

Seidelman resume includes more than 30 years of technology leadership experience, much of it in the auto industry. He most recently served as CTO at McCann Relationship Marketing, leading a global department of 450 professionals to deliver digital experiences and helping scale the business to more than $60 million in annual recurring revenue.

He was previously part of the senior management team of RouteOne, a joint venture of GMAC, Ford Motor Credit, Toyota Financial and Chrysler Financial, helping develop the patented RouteOne Automotive Credit Management Platform.

“Fred’s expertise in enterprise architecture, digital transformation and customer experience is exactly what STELLA needs as we enter our next phase of growth,” CEO Rich Sands said. “His proven ability to design and deliver scalable, customer-first solutions will strengthen our mission to make dealerships more efficient and profitable while delivering frictionless customer experiences.”

STELLA said Seidelman will focus on advancing engineering, product design and delivery to support dealer adoption and revenue growth and strengthen the company’s ability to scale its AI products.

Seidelman said he is joining STELLA “at such a pivotal time. The automotive industry is undergoing a major shift toward AI-driven engagement, and STELLA is at the forefront.
