TORRANCE, Calif. — With Norm Olson's retirement earlier this summer, Toyota management announced some internal executive shifts to ensure its certified pre-owned segment continues going strong.

Named to executive team leading this segment is Jason Cropper, as TCUV operations manager, and Tom DeLuise, as national manager for TRAC and TCUV.

Cropper is responsible for Toyota's sales operations in the area of Toyota Certified Used Vehicle, working directly with the automaker's TCUV field organization. Meanwhile, DeLuise is responsible for Toyota's operations in the areas of Toyota Rent-a-Car (TRAC) and TCUV.

Cropper told Auto Remarketing, "I'm very excited to be working with the TCUV program nationally and a part of the program after having done the position in a regional office. It's just nice to be a part of the program from a national perspective."

Offering some history, Cropper indicated he began his career with Toyota in 1997. His experience includes six years of management assignments within Toyota's Cincinnati Ohio Regional Sales Office to six years of field assignments within the Cincinnati region.

Within this region, Cropper held the positions of district parts manager, district sales manager, regional TCUV manager, regional vehicle supply manager, regional franchise renewal manager, customer services field manager and vehicle field sales manager.

As for DeLuise, he started his career with Toyota in 1985. His experience includes nine years of management assignments with Toyota's New York Regional Sales Office and more than 16 years of management positions at Toyota's national headquarters in Torrance, Calif. 

Within the field organization, he held the positions of district parts manager, district sales manager, regional fleet and truck manager, regional distribution manager, regional market representation manager and regional business management manager.

At Toyota's headquarters, DeLuise held the roles of fleet field manager, Toyota incentives manager, auto shows and events manager, sales administration manager, national dealer advertising association manager, Lexus national market representation manager, Lexus national sales administration manager and most recently, Toyota national direct and interactive manager.
