FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Executives from TPC Management this week announced the latest auction operation to retain its services for strategic consulting in national fleet/lease business development.

That facility is South Florida Auto Auction of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., an operation that's been in business for more than 10 years.

"Over the past 10 years we have focused on building the strongest dealer auction sale in south Florida, now running over 1,000 per week," explained Rhonda Grable, general manager of South Florida AA.

"We felt the timing was right to now expand our business by reaching out to national fleet/lease institutional sellers, and that working with TPC Management would give us the best exposure to these decision makers," Grable added.

The agreement is meant to aid the efforts of business development manager Joaquin Muvdi, who has been tasked with managing the fleet/lease department and working with both local and national consignors.

South Florida AA offers a dealer-only sale every Wednesday to serve a base that stretches from Palm Beach to the Florida Keys. Management indicated it's a member of the National Auto Auction Association and utilizes the AutoIMS inventory management system.

South Florida AA also uses Web simulcast technologies and both OVE.com and SmartAuction upstream platforms.

"We were very impressed with the dealer presence at this auction and Rhonda has leveraged her own experience with ADT and later the BSC Auctions with an equally experienced staff," stated Pierre Pons, president of TPC Management.

"To consistently run over 1,000 dealer consignment units per week in today's market shows resilience and a good understanding of the business," Pons continued.

"Many institutional accounts have actually been moving vehicles out of the South Florida market, and now have a great opportunity to reduce transport costs and cycle times with a great local auction operation," he concluded.
