CHICAGO –

When it comes to what they consider their "dream cars," it appears that shoppers still gravitate toward the high-end luxury and sports cars, according to Cars.com, which put out a list of top 10 dream cars earlier this week based on trends found throughout the site.

The No. 1 ride on the list was the Lamborghini Gallardo, which was followed by a fellow Lamborghini model, the Murcielago.

"There is no arguing that both Lamborghinis have what it takes to turn heads offline and on. While not everyone can afford one, car lovers are lining up to take them for a virtual test drive on Cars.com," stated Cars.com Editor in Chief, Patrick Olsen. "Obviously, price factors into making them a dream car, since none of these cars has an MSRP below $120,000."

Basically, these vehicles are the 2011-model year rides on Cars.com whose listings generate the most traffic, but have the slimmest proportion of visitors taking the next step and getting in touch with the dealer about buying, officials explained.
