3 at Manheim Appointed to New Roles

Manheim on Tuesday announced the appointments of three employees to new roles within the organization, moves the company said are part of its focus on enhancing the customer experience.
Appointed to the newly created position of digital general manager is Allan Wilwayco. In this role, he will be responsible for the management and execution of Simulcast Everywhere, along with other new and enhanced mobile and digital products, the company said.
Wilwayco will also lead development and delivery of a digital operating and sales strategy across the Manheim organization, and will partner with its product development team to maintain a thorough understanding of auction operations.
Wilwayco will report to Tim Janego, regional vice president for the East, and will maintain an active role in day-to-day operations, Manheim officials said.
Wilwayco has held several leadership roles at Manheim as part of his 20-year industry tenure, including heading cross-functional teams responsible for operations and corporate strategy.
“Wilwayco brings exceptional knowledge, expertise and solid customer relationships to this important role,” said Janego. “An early adopter of emerging technologies, Wilwayco is passionate about creating an enhanced understanding of the critical dependencies between digital products, services and operations that benefit our customers.”
Sales Strategy
Manheim also reported the promotion of Rick Burick to general sales manager of sales strategy, overseeing the sales strategy, sales effectiveness and Manheim’s trade desks teams.
These teams, the company said, are an integral part of Manheim’s national dealer sales organization, driving sales coaching and strategy and providing comprehensive support to all dealer sales teams.
Prior to this promotion, Burick led a team of 11 managers responsible for the development of Manheim’s sales teams.
Auction Move
The third move announced by Manheim is that of Kim Waterman, as auction manager for Manheim Central California. She is charged with leading local management and employee teams in growing the business and enhancing the customer experience for dealers.
Previously, Waterman served as an area marketing manager for Manheim. She will report to Julie Picard, market vice president for the Pacific market.
“To better serve our customers, whether they do business with us in-lane or online, it is imperative that we have the right people with the right skills in place,” said Susie Heins, vice president of dealer sales.
“Having the right talent positioned and focused in these areas is a key part of how we will deliver on our commitment of providing exceptional services, products and customer experience,” Heins said.
