ADESA Clear, the digital wholesale auction product of Carvana’s auto auction subsidiary, has expanded in a big way.

The platform launched in late 2023 and grew regionally last year and the early months of 2025.

And now it includes vehicles sold from more than 45 ADESA auto auction locations and Carvana inspection and reconditioning centers.

The company said “most sites” throughout the ADESA and Carvana network support ADESA Clear digital auction sales.

“We are thrilled to offer the ADESA Clear digital auction experience to wholesale buyers from coast to coast, and we look forward to continuing to grow our reach and selection with ongoing expansion efforts in the coming months,” said Nikki Behrens, Carvana’s senior director of marketplaces strategy & analytics, in a news release distributed on Wednesday.

“ADESA strives to deliver the best wholesale buying and selling experiences and outcomes to our customers, and growing ADESA Clear and the ADESA digital auction platform have been key steps to strengthen and differentiate our offering,” Behrens said. “With strong customer adoption and significant growth and enhancements ahead in the pipeline, we are just scratching the surface of our digital auction opportunity.”

The expansion in ADESA Clear broadens the vehicle selection available to wholesale buyers and can shorten the distance the inventory has to travel. The company said that as the footprint and inventory selection continues to grow, ADESA will be adding new tools and features to the Clear product.
