With its latest purchase, America’s Group has reached a major milestone: 50 auto auctions in its footprint.

The auction group acquired EBlock Houston and EBlock New Orleans, a sale announced last week by EBlock.

In a news release Monday, America’s Group said the acquisition bolsters the auction group’s Gulf Coast presence and “enhances its ability to serve dealers through a combination of physical and digital auction experiences.”

EBlock Houston, which was founded in 1964, has been renamed America’s Auto Auction Central Houston. EBlock had purchased what was then Houston Auto Auction in 2023.

EBlock New Orleans, which was founded in 2002, has been renamed America’s Auto Auction New Orleans. Then known as Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction, EBlock acquired the auction in 2022.

“These are two high-performing, relationship-driven auctions that reflect exactly what we value at America’s Auto Auction: deep-rooted trust in the local market, strong commercial partnerships, and a relentless focus on dealer success,” America’s Group CEO Chuck Tapp said in a news release. “We’re excited to welcome the talented teams in Houston and New Orleans to the America’s family as we continue to grow our presence and serve our customers at the highest level.”

In early October, America’s Group announced it had acquired Lake Charles Auto Auction, a Louisiana business which has served dealers in the region since 1991. This marked America’s Group’s eighth purchase of 2025, an active year of M&A for the auction group.
