CARY, N.C. -

Organizers of the 2013 Auto Remarketing Canada Conference, presented by CarProof, recently announced four key areas of focus that will be spotlighted during the three-day event this April in Toronto. They have also released some preliminary details about the speakers who will be touching on these subjects.

Conference chair Bill Zadeits said that while there will be a variety of speakers and topics, much of the content during the 2013 conference will fall into four main categories — retail, remarketing, regulatory/compliance/F&I and reputation management/social media.

“We feel that drawing out these four subject areas and shining the spotlight on them will help ensure that the conference is focused on the core topics and challenges that are currently being faced by the Canadian used-vehicle marketplace,” said Zadeits.

Zadeits also noted that content related to reputation management and social media topics will be even more present on the agenda than during previous conferences, as these issues move front-and-center for dealerships nationwide.

While organizers continue to build a complete agenda to fully address these four topics and provide other targeted content, they have been able to announce some of the speakers who will be sharing their knowledge during the event. A selection of currently confirmed speakers include:

•    Dale Pollak, vAuto
•    Ryan Thompson, Kijiji
•    Cathie Clark, Automotive Insider Consulting
•    Matt Rispin, North Toronto Auction
•    Gary Pritchard, RBC
•    Jack Brown, Automotive Business School of Canada

For more information or to register for the event, which will be held April 22–24 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, visit http://arcanada.autoremarketing.com. The $200 early registration discount, available only through March 25, makes registration $795USD per person.

In addition, the exclusive conference room rate of $192CAD/night at the Fairmont Royal York ends March 29. Organizers noted that they can guarantee neither a particular rate nor the availability of a room after that date. Because of the attendee growth several recent Auto Remarketing conferences, the event hotels have completely sold out, even before the close of the conference room rate, so organizers stressed the importance of booking rooms early.
