CHARLESTON, S.C. -

When Charleston Auto Auction holds its 10th annual Luau/Pig Pickin’ & Car Sale next month, vehicles from Avis Budget Group will be running down the lanes.

Auction management highlighted Avis Budget Group intends to send more than 50 vehicles for the Luau Sale.

“Look for these late-model, low-mileage, well-maintained units running in the lease/bank lane,”, Charleston AA general manager Laura Taylor said. “Kevin Grose of Avis Budget Group will be on hand for the festivities.

“The lease/bank lanes will boast over 400 vehicles for this special sale,” Taylor continued.

Set for June 14, Taylor noted this special sale will feature multiple smoked pigs, a steel drum band, more than 1,500 vehicles, 800 dealers and $35,000 in cash and prizes.

“Dealers travel from all across the country to be part of this event.  It is one of our dealer’s favorite promotions of the year,” Taylor said. “Not only is there a wide array of cars and buyers, but also a great assortment of prizes and food.

“Some of the prizes include the now famous Tiki hut, green egg grills, Margaretville blenders, an outdoor putting green & putter, luxury hammocks and swings, outdoor dining sets and much, much more,” she continued. “I am very excited. It is going to be our largest Luau sale yet.”

Charleston AA is a member of the American Auto Auction Group. It holds a sale every Friday at 10 a.m. with a damaged and disabled sale on the second and last Friday of every month at 9 a.m.
