GROVE CITY, Ohio -

By invitation only, dealers were in attendance physically and virtually as Columbus Fair Auto Auction hosted its inaugural “Auction Everywhere” simulcast event on Tuesday.

Held at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio, the independent, family-owned CFAA hosted more than 50 attendees and virtually presented 200 frontline ready vehicles in this first of what the company says will be a series of invitation-only events.

Keith Whann, founder of Auction Everywhere and chief executive officer of AWG Remarketing, said, “The forum of buying and selling cars is changing. The dealers’ need to maintain fresh inventory is even more demanding in today’s market as dealers reduce inventory age carrying tolerances.

“We want to offer dealers the opportunity to buy and sell the way they want to buy and sell. Auction Everywhere’s simulcast platform, mobile technologies and integration with most management systems allows dealers a seamless presentation and a transaction without friction,” Whann said.

Auction Everywhere, company officials explained, is an auction venue that offers guests the club experience while buying, selling, and trading in multiple lanes. CFAA provides professional staff, live and virtual auctioneers for the event, and can assign onsite agents to augment the participant’s experience.

The success of the auction, CFAA said, is largely due to the selection of vehicles, and the online simulcast and mobile apps that add worldwide access to the live auctions.

The next Auction Everywhere event will take place on Tuesday of this week, also at the Pinnacle Golf Club. For more information, visit www.cfaa.com.
