MONCKS CORNER, S.C. -

Following a three-week promotion for the cause, Charleston Auto Auction and its dealers raised $5,000 for the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston.

The auction held a 50/50 drawing each week to raise funds for the organization, which helps seriously ill children and their families.

At the end of the promotion, Charleston Auto Auction matched all of the contributions collected, for a grand total of $5,000, which was presented on Friday.

“Some of the kindest and most generous dealers in the country attend our auction,” said Laura Taylor, general manager of the auction located in Moncks Corner, S.C. “This is confirmed anytime we raise money for the sick or less fortunate.”

Charleston Auto Auction has been a supporter of the Ronald McDonald House for the past 10 years.
