Corn Roast Sale Could Be Largest Ever for KCI Kansas City

KCI Kansas City is preparing for its fifth annual Corn Roast Sale, and owners say with business on an upward trend, it could be the auction’s biggest sale ever.
“As the Corn Roast Sale nears, we are anticipating an increase in fleet, lease and dealer consigned units,” said Doug Doll, co-owner of KCI Kansas City. “We’re hoping the increase will lead us to the largest Corn Roast Sale in our history.”
KCI’s Corn Roast Sale will take place on July 11, offering 1,000 fleet, lease and dealer consigned units. Attending dealers will receive a Corn Roast hat and enjoy corn-on-the-cob while working the lanes.
After the sale, customers will be treated to a reception and luncheon with Kansas City Royals Hall-of-Famer John Mayberry, including a question and answer forum and an autograph session.
“Over the years, we have incorporated our local Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame players into this promotion and it has proven to be successful with customers and staff,” said Doll. “We are excited to have John Mayberry here for this year’s sale. His stories and life experiences will be entertaining for our customers.”
KCI Kansas City is a member of the McConkey Auction Group.
