SPOKANE, Wash. -

Twenty-one years and 2,100 units linked the DAA Northwest 21st anniversary sale, held Nov. 6-7 and marking the auction’s inaugural offering from Toyota Financial Services.

The 61-percent sale event saw a “dramatic lift in consignment, dealer attendance and sales,” the company noted, and took place in conjunction with the auction’s annual charity fundraiser.

It was also the first TFS sale for ServNet, of which DAA Northwest is a member.

Following the fleet/lease and select dealer consignment offering, DAA hosted its annual anniversary dinner party and fundraiser, where owners Bob McConkey and Greg Mahugh thanked customers for 21 years of support.

This year’s fundraiser brought in more than $90,000 for four local charities, namely the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery; Young Life of the Inland Northwest; Spring of Hope International; and Union Gospel Mission.

Since its inception, the annual anniversary sale fundraising event has contributed more than $900,000 to local charities.

“Everything came together for us this week,” said McConkey. “Our staff has been working hard to get ready for this sale, in particular for our inaugural offering from Toyota Financial Services.”

In keeping with the theme of its anniversary sale, the auction contributed funds to Toyota Financial Services’ campaign in support of Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

TFS kicked off the sale with 100 open sale units, and has committed to future sales at DAA Northwest, which is a member of the McConkey Auction Group and ServNet.
