Dealers Help Carolina Auto Auction Raise $5K for Wounded Warriors

As part of its annual Support the Troops campaign and in honor of Memorial Day, Carolina Auto Auction and its dealers have contributed funds throughout the month of May to aid soldiers injured in battle.
Dealer support of the project helped CAA raise $5,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project, as part of the auction’s annual Support the Troops campaign.
“Carolina Auto Auction campaigned throughout the month of May to raise donations for the Wounded Warrior Project and to honor veterans,” said auction general manager Tommy Rogers.
“One of our veteran employees created a display area in the lanes, and on sale day the auction captured photographs of many of the veteran dealers and employees present,” Rogers added.
The donations of dealers, along with matching contributions from Carolina AA, will benefit injured soldiers from the United States Armed Forces who have suffered wounds during combat efforts.
Also, the auction held a ceremony in honor of Memorial Day, with all eight lanes silent in honor of the soldiers who fought for our nation. The event featured the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, or NJROTC, from T.L. Hanna High School.
