America’s Auto Auction is expanding again — but not by acquiring another auction location.
This time the rapidly growing national auction giant is widening its inventory offerings with a focus on the specialty segment.
The company announced a plan to add its specialty sales platform, which currently consists of a monthly sale at its location in Greenville, S.C., to additional markets.
That expansion will begin July 11 with a specialty sale at America’s Auto Auction Toledo to be held at noon, after the regular dealer auction. That will be followed by the launch this fall of a specialty sale at America’s AA Las Vegas.
In a news release, America’s Auto Auction said the “dual-growth approach underscores a commitment to providing greater opportunity, enhanced value and a more diverse range of inventory to dealer partners across the country.”
America’s Group chief revenue officer Jason Ferreri said by introducing the specialty sale experience to more markets, “we’re creating new opportunities for our customers and helping them achieve greater success.”
The initiative is led by new director of specialty Pamela Exline, who joined the company this spring after 15 years with ADESA. America’s Auto Auction said her experience in wholesale automotive and specialty sales includes a strong record of delivering results in the segment.
“I wake up every morning asking myself, ‘What can I do to make things better? How can I provide value and be of service?’ ” Exline said. “I’m excited to join America’s Group and work alongside a team that shares that same mindset. I look forward to building specialty for America’s and appreciate the strong commitment behind this initiative.”
