Expressway Auto Auction of Dansville, N.Y., has engaged TPC Management Co. to provide strategic consulting services.

“We’re looking forward to an exciting future as we work with Pierre Pons, Jiles Wanna and the rest of the team at TPC Management,” Expressway co-owner and general manager Kyle Tracy said. “Their relationships within the remarketing community and their overall experience in the industry will be of tremendous benefit to us as we build our presence in the market.”

Expressway Auto Auction, was founded in 1967 by Richard Tracy on the site of a livestock market owned by his father, is a family-owned business led by Richard’s sons, Scott and Jeff Tracy, with grandchildren Kyle and Lyndsey, who serves as administrative manager as well as co-owner.

“The Tracy family has established Expressway Auto Auction as an important contributor to the local and regional economy as well as a major player in the auction business,” Pons said. “I was privileged to know of Richard Tracy in the early days of my own career in the auto auction industry, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with his family as they build on that legacy.”

Founded in 1996, TPC Management Co. provides consulting and management recruiting services to a variety of companies in the automotive industry and has developed Auction Academy, a continuing education program for professionals in the automotive industry.

Pons said he hopes to include fourth-generation owners Kyle and Lyndsey Tracy in upcoming Auction Academy sessions, saying they “exemplify the skill, commitment and enthusiasm that continues to strengthen the independent auction community” and “will have much to contribute to the next generation of auction leadership.”
