Former Indiana Auto Auction VP, GM Passes Away

HUNTINGTON, Ind. –
Auto Remarketing has learned that former Indiana Auto Auction vice president and general manager Dale Flora passed away on Wednesday. He was 69.
According to an obituary posted here on the website of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, Flora held those leadership roles at Indiana Auto Auction for 39 years before retiring in August 2009.
In addition to his roles at Indiana AA, Flora had been a board member for the National Auto Auction Association from 1995 to 1998, NAAA indicated in a message sent out Thursday
He was NAAA Midwest chapter president in 1994 and chapter zone treasurer from 1996 through 2008.
“The National Auto Auction Association extends its deepest sympathy to the Flora family and friends,” the organization said.
Visitation is on Friday and memorial services are Saturday in Huntington, Ind.

In the obituary, it was requested that instead of flowers, memorials be made to the food pantry at Love, Inc., or Cancer Services of Huntington County in care of:
