Former NAAA president Alexis Jacobs passes away

Alexis Jacobs, a former National Auto Auction Association president and former owner and chief executive officer of Columbus Fair Auto Auction, passed away Friday, according to a message from NAAA.
Jacobs, who was the NAAA’s president in 1995, led CFAA until 2019. The XLerate Group acquired the auction in 2019.
Jacobs was named NAAA Industry Pioneer in 2011 and inducted into the association’s hall of fame in 2014.
She was among Auto Remarketing’s 2010 Women in Remarketing.
Funeral arrangement details are forthcoming, NAAA said.
