KANSAS CITY, Mo. -

In an effort to meet increased demand, KCI Kansas City has started an expansion process that will bring 10 additional acres of pavement to the auction’s campus and double the size of the current lot.

What’s more, it will allow for the auction to accommodate 1,300 more consigned vehicles and include an on-site test track.

“We are extremely excited for the expansion to get underway,” said Doug Doll, co-owner of KCI Kansas City, a McConkey Auction Group and ServNet member. “With the recent increase in business, we are cramped for space, which limits our growth.

“This lot expansion will give us additional room, allowing us to acquire and manage larger accounts while better serving our current customer base,” he added.

KCI is also preparing to install dealer kiosks in the auction’s administrative offices and said it will soon offer full condition on every consigned unit.

“Our goal is to improve our customers’ experiences at KCI, and we’re confident we are on the right track with these enhancements,” says Doll.
