Missouri Auto Auction celebrates 25th anniversary

Missouri Auto Auction and opened a celebration of 25 years in business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the five-lane facility in Columbia, Mo., featuring founder Gregg Boswell.
The Boswell family, which has owned the independent auction since it was established by Gregg and Dagmar Boswell in August of 2000, said in a news release the event included $25,000 in giveaways.
“As an independent auction, our journey has been built on strong relationships, personalized service and a commitment to excellence,” owner and vice president Cody Boswell said. “From our first sale to today, we’ve grown together mile by mile, bid by bid.”
During the event, owner Candice Boswell-Bray thanked the auction’s “loyal customers, dedicated team, and trusted partners for being an essential part” of the auction’s success.
Missouri Auto Auction operates on 22 acres and offers 500 units weekly. It includes full reconditioning and mechanical facilities and in-house transportation with a fleet of company-owned trucks, and is integrated with AutoIMS and Simulcast for full in-lane and online capabilities.
“We couldn’t have achieved this without the support of our incredible dealers and commercial consignors,” general manager Justin Brown said. “Their trust in us, week after week, drives us to deliver the best service in the industry.”
