Montway acquires TurnTime Transport

Montway Auto Transport has expanded its reach yet again.
The third-party logistics brokerage said Tuesday it has acquired TurnTime Transport, an auto transport brokerage based in Phoenix.
Montway said the two companies’ customers are complementary and that adding TurnTime boosts its dealer and auction transport services.
This move follows Montway’s acquisition of luxury vehicle transport brokerage Angels Moving Autos in May.
“To meet changing consumer demands and compete in today’s competitive marketplace, dealers are sourcing vehicles from multiple channels, including physical and online auctions,” Montway chairman and CEO Tom Gartland said in a news release.
“In just six years, TurnTime Transport has built a reputation for reliability and speed with dealers nationwide,” Gartland said. “With their responsive service and solid carrier network, TurnTime supports Montway’s long standing commitment of delivering a five-star experience to our dealer clients.”
TurnTime was founded in 2019 by Justin Becker, who operates the company and also co-founded Wholesale Express, a vehicle transport company founded in 2015 and now a subsidiary of RideNow. His background also includes time with Team Auto Logistics and the company formerly known as KAR Global (now OPENLANE).
“I understand the immense pressure dealers face to move inventory quickly,” said Becker. “From the very beginning, we built our company on the principle that speed, clear and precise communication, and deep industry knowledge are essential to our customers.
“My team and I are driven to pick up and deliver vehicles as fast as possible, with as few hassles as possible, and to always take care of our customers’ vehicles as if they were our own. I’m excited to enhance our efficiency and reach with the true industry professionals at Montway Auto Transport,” Becker said.
