Many colleges and universities might be on spring break this week, but the National Auto Auction Association is still thinking about academics.
The organization reminded the wholesale industry that the NAAA Warren Young, Sr. Scholastic Foundation has opened its scholarship application for the 2024-2025 academic year.
NAAA said applications will be accepted until March 28. Officials indicated a total of $140,000 in scholarships is available this year.
On the application website, NAAA reiterated that program is geared to assist full-time employees of member auctions or their corporate owner, their children, step-children and grandchildren who plan to continue education in college or vocational school programs.
Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice, according to the site.
Officials added board members of NAAA and any subsidiaries of NAAA, including the NAAA Warren Young, Sr. Scholastic Foundation and their children and grandchildren are ineligible to apply.
