IAA is expanding its presence south of the border — in fact, south of south of the border.

The global digital marketplace, which serves more than 170 nations, has entered into a market alliance with Moto Leader Group International in Panama, according to IAA’s parent company RB Global.

MLG International will operate an IAA auction center, where its team will provide local services and assistance to buyers seeking to bid on and buy vehicles listed by IAA.

“MLG International has deep experience in the vehicle import market,” IAA senior vice president of North America operations Scott Guenther said. “This collaboration will enhance the buying experience for customers in Central America and reinforce our commitment to global accessibility and localized service.”

In a news release, RB Global said the agreement strengthens IAA’s customer base in Central America and improves access to its vehicle inventory for buyers regionally and worldwide.

IAA has an auction center in El Salvador, the result of a 2022 market alliance with Trans-Auto S.A. de C.V., and also serves customers in Honduras and Guatemala.

“We’re proud to expand our relationship with IAA and introduce its innovative digital auction platform to the market in Panama,” MLG International owner Lukasz Dziewulski said. “Our team is excited to help customers across Panama and neighboring countries navigate the purchasing process and gain better access to high-quality inventory tailored to their needs.”
