vAuto announced plans Tuesday to release a new solution that the company contends will help dealers tell every car’s “story.”

AutoVisor — the second product offering in the new vAuto Genius Labs line — is set to debut at the National Automobile Dealers Association conference in February.

Dale Pollak, founder of vAuto, offered his take on the new offering: “Dealers constantly worry that their sales teams miss opportunities because they don’t consistently put every used vehicle in the best possible light with customers.

“AutoVisor will give dealers total confidence that their sales teams effectively present every car’s ‘story’ through a unique blend of real-time market comparisons and third-party information that validate each vehicle’s asking price and value proposition,” he continued.

Highlighting the product in more detail, AutoVisor — powered by vAuto “Live Market” technology — allows dealers to generate desktop or mobile-based AutoVisor reports that show real-time market comparisons and third-party information/reviews on the car for interested customers.

The AutoVisor reports include vehicle photos, equipment/trim options, as well as reliability, safety and performance specifications and available warranties, the company shared.

AutoVisor reports can also include Carax and other vehicle condition/history reports, as well as expert/owner reviews from Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com.

AutoVisor also includes market comparisons which the company contends can help dealer  “underscore why their asking price represents a good deal.”

“AutoVisor captures available and recently sold vehicles in a market, displaying the cars and prices that compare best with the unit they’re trying to sell. AutoVisor reports will incorporate the Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Price and other third-party pricing data for additional real-market corroboration,” officials explained.

Furthermore, the product reports also highlight any dealership specials available on a vehicle.

“AutoVisor will build confidence on both sides of the sales desk,” adds Todd Kinzle, director of operations for Genius Labs. “Customers will gain confidence as AutoVisor’s real-time market comparisons, third-party information and customer testimonials always answer their three most pressing questions —‘is this the right car, the right deal and the right dealership?’

“In addition, AutoVisor will help salespeople stand tall behind every used vehicle and price they’re selling — whether they engage customers by phone, online or in person,” he continued.  “AutoVisor will equip dealership sales teams with a means to effectively ‘hold gross’ and meet sales objectives while giving customers the level of market-based confidence and validation they now expect.”
