Pittsburgh Auction ‘Passes Torch’ in Executive Team

Organizational changes were announced this week by family-owned Pittsburgh Independent Auto Auction, as several people take on new roles within its executive team.
Named chairman and chief executive officer of Pittsburgh Independent Auto Auction is David Angelicchio. Dennis Angelicchio has been appointed president of the company, and Debra Angelicchio-Jackson was appointed vice president.
Company founder and NAAA pioneer Clo Angelicchio commented on the executive updates by saying, “Although I intend to be active in the business for as long as I am able, it is time to pass the torch.
“As we prepare to celebrate our 35th anniversary in May, I am extremely proud of the business that we have developed, and I am confident in our family’s ability to manage and continue to grow the business.”
Pittsburgh Independent Auto Auction, a member of the ServNet Auction group, is an independently owned and operated dealer-only sale that features seven lanes, and is located on 140 acres.
Owned by the Angelicchio family for three decades, the auction reports a buyer base of more than 6,000 registered dealers.
