What prompted/inspired you to join the auto industry and what do you enjoy most about it?
I transitioned into the automotive industry after experiencing the kind of burnout that is all too common in the retail sector. Stepping away from retail allowed me to reevaluate the type of work environment and career path I wanted for myself, and the auto industry quickly emerged as a natural fit. From the moment I made the shift, I haven’t looked back. What drew me in — and what continues to motivate me — is the complexity and constant evolution of this field. The automotive industry is dynamic in a way few others are: market conditions shift rapidly, customer expectations continue to rise, and new technologies consistently reshape how we operate. Instead of being intimidated by that level of change, I find it both energizing and intellectually engaging.
What is the top trend you’re watching in the used-car industry this year?
Two of the most significant trends I am monitoring this year are the growing presence of EVs in the used‑car market and the evolving challenges around affordability. Also, the rapid advancement of AI is becoming increasingly influential across both areas. As AI capabilities accelerate, it will be important to understand how these technologies intersect.
What accomplishment are you most proud of in your career?
The accomplishment I am most proud of is not centered on my individual achievements, but on the team I have the privilege of leading. This group is composed of highly seasoned professionals who bring exceptional expertise and a shared passion for the work we do. Each week, their ideas, insights, and dedication drive meaningful progress as we focus on delivering the greatest value to our lenders and partners.
Building this team — and fostering the strong, healthy relationships that enable us to collaborate so effectively — stands as my greatest professional achievement. Their success is a direct reflection of our collective commitment, and I am honored to support and grow alongside them.
What book, film or song has inspired you personally or professionally?
“Girl, Wash Your Face” – Rachel Hollis
“A Stolen Life” – Jaycee Dugard
“Fail Until You Don’t” – Bobby Bones
…. to name a few! Any book about rising above adversities are so inspiring.
Who is someone who has inspired you personally or professionally?
In my personal life, my greatest inspiration comes from my parents. They have worked exceptionally hard for everything they have, yet remain generous and compassionate in all they do. Their constant acts of kindness—without recognition or expectation—have shaped my values and continue to inspire me every day.

From a professional standpoint, the leader who influenced me most was my first manager when I entered this industry. His leadership style was built on respect, understanding, encouragement, and unwavering support. As someone new to the field at the time, having a manager who believed in me and invested in my growth was exactly what I needed. His example has had a lasting impact on the way I lead and support others, and it has played a meaningful role in shaping the leader I am today.
