Auto Remarketing is recognizing the 2026 Women in Remarketing honorees in the April edition of the magazine and will be posting Q&As with each of these outstanding leaders on the website.

Next up, in alphabetical order by first name, is Tiffany Homola, who is director of strategic partnerships at Montway Auto Transport.

The Women in Remarketing program is presented by Ally.

What prompted/inspired you to join the auto industry and what do you enjoy most about it?

My journey into the auto industry began with a leap of faith from someone who saw potential in me before I saw it in myself. Tony Young at Young Chevrolet Cadillac in Owosso, Mich., encouraged me to try car sales at a time when I was a stay-at-home mom.

I didn’t initially connect with the idea, but he reminded me that personality and work ethic matter just as much as process — and that belief changed everything.

I went on to become one of the top saleswomen on the floor, which led me into wholesale and eventually transportation. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside incredible leaders who challenged and inspired me to grow. Mary Bartlett has been a constant supporter and encouraged me in my career in transportation. Her leadership, confidence in my abilities, and willingness to challenge me to grow have helped shape the professional I am today.

What I love most about this industry is the people. The partnerships, the trust, and the ability to support dealers in meaningful ways drive me every day. My passion is building strong relationships and helping others succeed. That’s what makes this industry so rewarding.

What is the top trend you’re watching in the used-car industry this year?
The remarketing industry is not just evolving, it’s transforming. With electrified inventory, predictive data, and fully digital marketplaces reshaping how vehicles move, the opportunity to lead through innovation has never been greater. I see this shift as a call to raise the standard especially in communication, transparency, and operational alignment.

In my role, I focus on eliminating friction between dealers, logistics, and remarketing partners. I advocate for smarter dispatch visibility, clearer pickup expectations, and technology enhancements that empower the person placing the order, not just management, to stay informed in real time. When communication improves, confidence improves. And when confidence improves, partnerships grow.

I am passionate about building processes that are proactive rather than reactive. By anticipating dealer needs and championing solutions that create clarity and efficiency, I aim to help shape a remarketing ecosystem that is faster, more connected, and truly dealer-centric.

What accomplishment are you most proud of in your career?

The accomplishment I am most proud of in my career is my ability to help grow large dealer groups while building lasting relationships that get stronger year after year. I take pride in not just earning business, but earning trust by becoming a strategic partner rather than just a vendor.

Equally important to me is my commitment to continuous growth. I have never been someone who settles. I consistently look for ways to improve processes, strengthen communication, and elevate both myself and the partnerships I support. My willingness to persevere, adapt, and push forward even through challenges has allowed me to create meaningful impact in the transportation and remarketing space. For me, success is not just measured in volume or revenue, but in the longevity of relationships and the reputation I have built along the way.

What book, film or song has inspired you personally or professionally?
One book that has inspired me both personally and professionally is “The Power of One More” by Ed Mylett. The message is simple but powerful: doing one more rep, making one more call, having one more conversation, pushing one step further than what feels comfortable. That mindset has shaped how I lead, how I approach challenges, and how I show up for my team and my partners.

Professionally, it reminds me that growth happens in the extra effort, the extra follow-up, the extra clarity in communication, the extra level of service that builds trust. Personally, it reinforces resilience and the belief that small, consistent actions compound into meaningful impact. That philosophy of “one more” has become a standard I hold myself to daily to improve processes, strengthen relationships, and continue raising the bar in everything I do.

Who is someone who has inspired you personally or professionally?
I have been incredibly fortunate throughout my career to have leaders who empowered me and believed in my abilities. But my very first and most powerful role model was my mom. She always pushed me to become more and never once doubted what I was capable of achieving. In her eyes, there was no mountain too high for me to climb. Even during her battle with cancer, her strength and faith never wavered until she passed in 2017. She taught me resilience, courage, and the power of unwavering belief. Today, my children continue to inspire me.

I strive to be my best because of them, because they believe in me, even on days I may question myself. Watching them carry that same passion and commitment into their own journeys fills me with pride. My daughter is a self-made entrepreneur, and my son is pursuing law at Michigan State University. Seeing them grow into driven, capable leaders reminds me daily why showing up fully matters. Their belief in me fuels my belief in myself.
