ServNet Auctions Enjoy Summer Promotional Sale Success

For some ServNet auctions, summer marks the season to think outside of the box when it comes to sales. News coming out of the auction group highlighted a series of successful promotional sales.
First up, Carolina Auto Auction launched its summer promotional season with its annual Corn Roast in June.
The auction featured more than 1,000 vehicles, with more than 550 dealers showing up.
On top of more than 600 ears of corn for attendees to enjoy, the sale featured two custom corn hole games, as well, for a bit of fun between buying and selling.
Following the Corn Roast Sale, Carolina AA held its larger Christmas in July event. During this sale held on July 10, dealers had a chance to win $35,000 in cash and prizes.
"The event was a tremendous success," said company officials, with more than 700 dealers in attendance and 60 percent of all vehicles sold.
Prizes include home entertainment systems, grills, outdoor furniture and more.
"We're very thankful for all of you," owner and president Henry Stanley told dealers after the sale. "I've always said that without our customers we wouldn't be here!"
Carolina AA will be hosting another summer sale this week, with its Classic Car Sale and Show alongside its Toys for the Big Boys Sale, both scheduled for Wednesday.
BSCAmerica’s Tallahassee Auto Auction Holds Record-Breaking Sale
A little further down south, BSCAmerica’s Tallahassee Auto Auction marked its 29th year in business on June 28 with a sale that officials said "set new records across the board."
Not only did the sale tout record attendance with 400 dealers in the auction lanes and 100 online, but it also broke records for cars consigned and sold.
"It was a fantastic day at Tallahassee Auto Auction from start to finish," said auction general manager Doug Rodriguez.
Following the sale, customers were privy to cash prizes and all buyers and sellers at the anniversary sale qualified for the grand prize giveaways: two travel packages to Florida's St. George Island.
"We are very pleased to report that even beyond the records set at our anniversary sale, Tallahassee Auto Auction is enjoying steady growth and is continuing to build market share," said Rodriguez. "We appreciate the support of loyal customers who have contributed so much to our success, and to the dedication of our employees who work so hard to make every sale at BSCAmerica's Tallahassee Auto Auction a great one!"
Dealers Auto Auction of the Rockies Holds Pre-4th of July Sale
Out West, Dealers Auto Auction of the Rockies recently held its Pre-4th of July Sale on June 27, where attendees were privy to a hot dog bar, apple and cherry pie and prize giveaways, which included a floating cooler, a patio set and a soda maker.
"Our customers really enjoy our Pre-4th of July Sale because of our unique giveaways," said Michele Noblitt, executive vice president. "The hot dog bar is always a big hit too."
The auction also held its 3rd Annual Charity Auction benefiting Help Out Not Hand Outs on July 18th.
Each year DAA Rockies chooses a local Colorado charity to benefit from the auction. Help Out Not Hand Outs (HONHO) is a new charity in the Colorado Community that focuses on helping veterans within Colorado and nationwide, officials said.
