Turn Automotive has unveiled its newest tool in its mission to improve vehicle appraisals.
The digital wholesale marketplace announced the launch of TurnVision, a feature in its mobile app that uses artificial intelligence to detect vehicle damage, which it calls “a significant leap forward for automotive appraisals.”
The tool was developed in collaboration with AI-powered vehicle inspection technology provider Click-Ins, using Click-Ins’ patented platform in the appraisal process.
TurnVision is designed to scan vehicle images uploaded through Turn Automotive’s app for exterior imperfections and overlay damage polygons directly onto the photos, which Turn Automotive said allows sellers to appraise faster and more accurately in real time.
Click-Ins CEO Josh Parsons called it an honor to work with Turn Automotive.
“Their team understands the nuances of the automotive space and is relentlessly focused on solving real-world problems for both dealers and consumers,” he said.
Turn Automotive said the integration of TurnVision “elevates [its] commitment to simplifying and modernizing the wholesale vehicle experience, adding its technology lets dealers “receive data-informed offers on vehicles while gaining the ability to enhance their trade and acquisition processes by reaching directly into the consumer’s driveway.”
