ALEXANDRIA, Va. –
The Insurance Information Institute reports that more than 25 percent of all businesses close down following a natural disaster and never open their doors again. The American International Automobile Dealers Association wants to know if your dealership is prepared.
“A disaster recovery plan can make all the difference between the loss of your business and its survival,” explained AIADA officials.
To help dealers prepare the association and its Affinity Partner Federated Insurance will be hosted a Webinar on April 21 at noon EST.
The free Webinar is scheduled to be 30 minutes and is designed to cover the essential steps and key information dealers should know to establish a plan to deal with disasters, including how to communicate plans with employees, vendors and the media.
The Webinar will be presented by Pete Kalan, field services training and support manager at Federated Insurance. He has been with the company for almost 30 years, with the last 15 years focused on safety and risk management training.
Registration is open to the first 150 individuals. Dealers do not need to be a AIADA member to register.
