BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. — QEK Global Solutions, a proprietary asset management software provider to several automakers, announced the return of an executive who previously spent more than 10 years at the company.

Taking on the role as the vice president of strategic sales is Craig Cheatle, who worked at QEK from 1992 through 2004.

All told, QEK said Cheatle comes back with more than 18 years of industry experience at the fleet management, leasing, and manufacturer levels.

After holding various positions at QEK, such as director of sales and marketing, Cheatle went to Audi of America as corporate sales manager. While with that automaker, officials recounted Cheatle was responsible for developing and launching more than a dozen strategically designed programs targeted to generate incremental sales across key markets in commercial fleet, dealer service loaner, VIP, rental, and European delivery segments.

Most recently, Cheatle served as the vice president of strategic development at AmeriFleet Transportation. In that position, he headed up new business development and client services teams.

Now back with QEK, the company is looking to Cheatle to be a member of the senior leadership team and be responsible for developing strategic client and business partnerships as well as new solutions.

"We are excited to have Craig back as part of our team," stated Kerry Budry, QEK's president and chief executive officer.

"His strong leadership skills and focus on building new business through leveraging relationships will prove to be a valuable asset to QEK's growth strategies," Budry concluded.
