AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Chrysler unveiled two executive appointments on Thursday, announcing that Steve Williams will now serve as head of advanced engineering, planning and regulatory affairs, while Stephen Bartoli — who previously was head of regulatory affairs and engineering planning — becomes the head of international product planning, business development and integration.

Williams was most recently the head of innovation and pre-program concepts, where his duties included advance engineering, innovation, features planning, Global Electric Motors, design for six sigma and cost and methods planning

Williams has worked for the automaker since 1990. In his new position, he takes on Chrysler's regulatory and planning activities, while also maintaining his previous responsibilities for all advance engineering.

Bartoli's responsibilities in his new post include leading product planning, market, brand and business Strategy and alliance planning for international markets.

Bartoli has been with Chrysler since 1986.
