DALLAS -

While also highlighting the company’s revamped website, Automotive Finance Corp. announced a new national floor planning promotion late last week.

During festivities at the company’s official 25th anniversary celebration hosted at ADESA Dallas, AFC said it is giving away free floor planning for a year to one lucky AFC dealer.

Officials noted the announcement made just before the auction’s weekly sale began garnered rousing accolades from dealers in attendance.

"The promotion includes no interest and no floor plan fees for a year, saving one lucky AFC dealer up to $25,000," AFC chief executive officer and president Don Gottwald emphasized.

"Once registered, entry is automatic. Every vehicle floored with us between now and March 31, is counted as an entry into the contest," he explained.

The free flooring for a year campaign is the second national promotion AFC has launched since beginning its 25th anniversary celebrations.

The company mentioned Bret Gilbert, of Premium Pre-Owned Autos in East Peoria, Ill., won a trip for two to Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI through AFC’s Big Game Giveaway.

Gottwald went on to pronounce, "January 26th, 2012 marks our 25th year serving the inventory finance needs of automotive dealers across North America.

"Our team continues to work hard to honor AFC’s commitment of ‘service that will floor you’ and look forward to the next 25 years offering products that help our dealers grow," he went on to say.

Dealers attending AFC’s anniversary event were treated to a BBQ luncheon, cake, music via a live band and special floor plan pricing for purchases made and floored with AFC.

Additionally, one lucky dealer won a 51-inch Samsung TV during a presale giveaway, also sponsored by AFC.

AFC Rolls out New Website

In related news, AFC also recently introduced a completely revamped website.

In response to AFC customers’ needs and coinciding with its 25th anniversary, AFC is unveiling many new features on the site.

"We surveyed our dealers, and they told us what features they wanted and how they wanted to transact with us," explained Jay Bahel, AFC’s vice president of strategic initiatives.

Bahel reiterated AFC’s intent is to be available to their customers everywhere.

"We want to be accessible to our customers whether they want to do business in person at a local branch or virtually through a computer or mobile device," he stressed.

The updated AFCDealer.com offers new features such as single sign-on, scheduled payments, enhanced reporting options, flooring non-auction purchases and more.

The company thinks a "Dealer Dashboard" makes it particularly easy for its customers to transact and report with AFC, as well as learn about current promotions.

"While dealers have told us these features are exactly what they are looking for, we’re not done yet," Bahel pointed out.

"We intend to launch additional key features in short order that enable our dealers to better manage their operations," he continued. "Whether customers prefer to stop by a local branch office, talk to one of our staff on the phone, email us or transact and report with us online, we continue to make it easy and convenient for customers to do business with AFC."
