Heasley joins American Auto Shield to build service contract program

LAKEWOOD, Colo. -

KISS Concepts Group founder and president Rod Heasley has joined American Auto Shield to build a vehicle service contract program that will give consumers the ability to choose their own terms, coverage, mileage and price.

Heasley will serve as president of an American Auto Shield division dedicated to developing the company’s upcoming vehicle service contract program, which will launch in June.

In addition to his new role, Heasley will also work to maintain and expand KISS Concepts Group partnerships, according to American Auto Shield.

“As an administrator of vehicle service contract programs for 15 years, American Auto Shield has built a stellar reputation for their professionalism, integrity and deep knowledge base,” Heasley said. “I’m proud to join their team, leading the charge to bring a revolutionary program to our industry that puts consumers back in the driver’s seat. This approach will ultimately translate to greater success for every dealer we work with, as special new benefits have been developed specifically for them.”

American Auto Shield said delivering new unique benefits to both new and used dealers is the program’s core purpose.

The program is currently being piloted in six states, according to the company.
