Chrysler Says Incentive Offers Will Continue, Adds More
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Chrysler announced today that it will continue offering its 60-day pledge and national Tent Event promotions through the end of this month. To sweeten the pot, the automaker will also continue offering zero-percent financing via Ally Financial, as well.
"Ally Financial continues to be an important partner to us, financing about 50 percent of our retail sales year-to-date," shared Fred Diaz, the president and chief executive officer for Ram Truck brand. Diaz also serves as lead executive for U.S. sales.
As far as the pledge program, consumers have a 60-day window from the time of purchase to bring the vehicle back to the store if it doesn't fit their needs or expectations.
Not only that, Chrysler indicated it will pick up the tab for the first two months' payments, for a maximum of $500 per month and a maximum total of $1,000. This deal can be used for most of the automaker's vehicles.
Chrysler also unveiled a few new offerings in its incentive program for August on select vehicles in its lineup, as well.
These include more incentives being put toward the 2010 Jeep Liberty, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Commander models, as well as lease bonus cash now being available on the 2010 Chrysler Town & Country. Moreover, the additions include deals on the 2011 models of the Liberty, Dodge Nitro and Ram 1500 Regular, Quad and Crew Cab vehicles.
Breaking it down by brand, the following are the August incentives for Chrysler:
Chrysler Brand
Customers can pick from the following when buying 2010 model-year units: zero-percent financing for up to 60 months through Ally Financial, as much as $3,000 in Consumer Cash or the "60-day/no payments" pledge program.
If a shopper buys a 2010 Chrysler unit, there is 1.9-percent APR from Ally for terms up to 72 months offered, as well.
If the consumer chooses to lease a 2010 model-year Chrysler 300, Chrysler 300C or Town & Country, the shopper can receive as much as $2,000 in lease bonus cash.
Jeep Brand
Available now on most 2010 models in the brand's lineup are the following choices: zero-percent financing for up to 60 months, up to $4,500 in Consumer Cash or the pledge program.
If shoppers purchase a 2010-model Liberty, Grand Cherokee or Commander, they can access up to $1,000 in Ally Financial Bonus Cash should they finance via Ally.
Moreover, buyers of 2011 Liberty models can take either $1,000 Consumer Cash or pick 1.9 APR financing for 36 months via Ally.
Dodge Brand
Available on most 2010 Dodge vehicles are the options of the zero-percent financing for up to 60 months, up to $3,000 in Consumer Cash or they can take advantage of the pledge program.
For the 2010 Dodge Charger, shoppers who purchase the model can pick from zero-percent financing for up to 72 months, $3,000 in Consumer Cash or the pledge program.
Next up, lessees of the 2010 Charger, Dodge Journey or Dodge Grand Caravan that go through Ally can access as much as $2,000 in lease bonus cash.
Purchasers of the 2011 Nitro can go with financing as low as 1.9 percent for 36 months through Ally or take $1,000 in Consumer Cash.
Ram Truck Brand
Available to purchasers of 2010 model-year Ram Truck brands are these options: zero-percent financing for up to 60 months, as much as $3,000 in Consumer Cash or the pledge program.
For buyers of the 2010 Ram 1500 who finance via Ally, there is $1,000 Ally Financial Bonus Cash being offered.
Additionally, if customers go through Ally to lease a 2010 1500 Crew Cab, they can receive lease bonus cash of $1,000.
Finally, for shoppers who buy a 2011 Ram 1500, the options are the following: Ally financing as low as 2.9 percent for 36 months or $1,000 in Consumer Cash. Moreover, they also can receive $500 worth of Ally Financial Bonus Cash.
