CARMEL, Ind. — Dealer Services Corp. of Indiana announced late last week that it has named a new chief operations officer to replace Brian Geitner, who became chief executive officer on Jan. 1.

Appointed to the COO post was Shane O'Dell, a founding member of DSC who came aboard in 2005. His roles with the company have included time as vice president of operations from 2005 to 2008 and senior vice president of operations from 2008 to 2010.

His industry experience goes back 15 years. O'Dell worked for 10 years in various management positions for Automotive Finance Corp.

"Shane provides strong execution skills, a proven ability to lead top performing teams and a straight-forward style of communication," Geitner noted. "I look forward to Shane's impact as he hits the ground running in this new role."

O'Dell added: "I welcome the expanded responsibilities of the COO role and really appreciate our team culture. Operationally, we have combined great people with innovative technology and thus have fused together a premium service model.

"I look forward to building upon our existing platform to add more products, services and delivery portals for our employees and dealers," he concluded.
