IRVINE, Calif. — In a unique way to reach out to budding auto journalists, Kelley Blue Book's Kbb.com is holding a contest where car enthusiasts can make their own vehicle review videos and submit them for the chance to win $10,000 and be a KBB editor for a day.

To participate, contestants simply film a two-minute or less video review of their choice and then register and enter their video via www.kbb.com/contest.

A judge panel will evaluate submissions by following criteria: creativity, how strongly they capture the "essence" of the specific model, unique and "cool" visuals, overall presentation, professionalism, and, as KBB put it, "general awesomeness."

The first-place prize is $10,000 cash and an all-expense-paid trip to KBB's Irvine, Calif., headquarters to spend a day as a video reviews editor.

The second-place contestant receives $5,000 and the third-place prize is $1,000.

Submissions can be made now through 4:59:59 p.m. (PT) on June 15, and the winner will be announced in the second week of July.

The submitted can be viewed throughout the entirety of the contest at KBB's YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/kbb.

"The life of an automotive journalist is pretty great. What could be better than driving cool cars, sharing your thoughts about them and getting paid to do so," stated Micah Muzio, video road test editor for KBB.

"We want to see how inventive, talented and just plain awesome our viewers are on camera," Muzio added. "Ten thousand dollars and access to the exciting world of automotive journalism await the creator of the most dazzling video"
