OAKVILLE, Ontario — Recognizing the highest rated facilities in Canada, Ford of Canada recently unveiled the winners of its 2009 Auction Quality Award and 2009 Reconditioning Excellence Award.

Taking home the Auction Quality honors were ADESA Calgary and ADESA Moncton, which were the two highest-rated Ford Sponsored Auctions in the Auction Quality Program.

Officials explained that these two facilities achieved the highest quality standards set by Ford of Canada dealers, Ford of Canada — Remarketing Services and auction operational performance.

Auctions were evaluated based on how they performed in vehicle preparation, services provided, auction communication and/or information, auction operations and overall satisfaction.

"These auctions have earned this distinction by achieving the highest quality ratings from Ford of Canada dealers, Ford Remarketing Services personnel and by demonstrating outstanding performance in their operational processes over the course of the past year," stated Tim Quesnel, remarketing operations manager for Ford of Canada.

"Each of these winning auctions are the very best at what they do, and they earned that distinction through the pride they put into their work," he added. "I congratulate ADESA Calgary and ADESA Moncton on winning the award, and would like to take the opportunity to also thank them for their efforts."

Meanwhile, earning the 2009 Reconditioning Excellence Award honors were ADESA Vancouver and ADESA Moncton.

This was given to the auctions that Ford of Canada dealers determined have the highest ratings for auto reconditioning performance.
