TYSONS, Va. -

NADA has launched a Women in Automotive video competition that will award 10 Apple Watches to top submissions just ahead of the NADA Show in March.

NADA said there are now more opportunities for women to create lasting, impactful careers in automotive retail than ever before, and this competition is meant to highlight that progress.

“There are so many choices,” Michelle Primm, managing partner at Cascade Auto Group in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio said in a news release. “One of the challenges is figuring out how to put these opportunities in the shopping cart when women are doing their research.”

For a chance to win the video competition, women in automotive retail can share a short video about their experience publicly on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter — using the hashtag: #WomenInAutomotive.

NADA said it will send a free Apple Watch to its 10 most favorited submissions.

Additionally, also in March, the 2018 Women & Automotive Canadian Leadership Forum will take place in downtown Toronto, where automotive industry leaders will discuss approaches for advancing women into leadership roles. The one-day forum is now in its third year.
