CARY, N.C. -

In preparation for the launch of the Auto Fin Journal, this week we are featuring a pair of auto finance-related interviews recorded by AFJ senior editor Nick Zulovich during AFSA's Vehicle Finance Conference earlier this year.

Launching this summer to select audiences with a full launch in the fall, the Auto Fin Journal will focus content on business intelligence for automotive and auto fintech executives.

With the rapid pace of change and technology in the automotive and auto fintech industries, the Auto Fin Journal will serve as a trusted resource for content, business intelligence and knowledge-sharing for industry executives, suppliers and franchise dealers.

First up on the docket of auto finance podcasts is GM Financial chief operating officer Kyle Birch, who shared his thoughts on how underwriting is evolving as well as the critical role auctions play for wholesale consignment.

That podcast can be found below.

Next, Solomon Semere of LexisNexis Risk Solutions described how providers are working to navigate the challenges of fraud and risk management as well as the trends he's watching closely in 2018.
