FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -

Haig Partners describes John Davis as “a fixture in the professional dealership services sector for over 35 years.”

Now Davis, who is a former partner with DHG Dealerships, is joining Haig Partners as managing director.

Davis, who joined Haig Partners effective June 1, has served in various leadership positions at DHG.

Haig Partners said in a news release that Davis has spent a great deal of his professional career in the buy-sell space and that he has advised on some of the largest transactions in the industry.

The company also said that for several years, Davis chaired the AICPA Automotive Conference’s Steering Committee.

Over the next few years, he will continue to serve as partner emeritus for DHG and will act in an executive client service capacity for the company. He will pursue business development opportunities, and within the firm, he will assist on special projects.

Davis said he was excited to join the team at Haig, which is a boutique investment banking and brokerage firm that specializes in buy-sell advisory work for high-value automotive dealerships and dealership groups.

“Having worked closely with their organization and their team members for many years, I know the culture and professionalism that Haig Partners represents, and this is exactly where I want to continue serving the automotive industry,” Davis said.

“We are thrilled to add someone of John's caliber to our already accomplished team of professionals,” Haig Partners managing partner Alan Haig said. “John has deep relationships with so many dealers across the country, and he has extensive experience in the buy-sell industry. He is a perfect fit with our organization.”
