HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. -

Retail automotive technology company CDK Global named Mahesh Shah executive vice president, chief product and technology officer.

CDK said in a news release that Shah will accelerate innovation, research and development, and building and testing for its product portfolio.

He most recently served as senior vice president and general manager of applications and global business process services for DXC Technology.

Before his time at DXC Technology, Shah served in various positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprises for 16 years. At that company, he built a consulting organization focused on M&A, serving in roles such as chief information officer, vice president, product R&D and IT, and executive director, security product management and development.

Shah will be based in the organization’s new San Jose, Calif., office.
