ATLANTA -

Manheim is rolling out two upgrades to its Manheim Express to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the digital wholesale app.

It announced Thursday that Manheim Express will now include a condition report grade feature on all cars listed by concierges, while also giving users the ability to request a concierge through the app.

“Since Manheim Express launched its Concierge force earlier this year, the service has proven invaluable to dealers looking to save time and benefit from expert advice in navigating the industry’s strongest wholesale marketplace,” Derek Hansen, vice president of Offsite Solutions at Manheim, said in a news release. “And now, as we thank dealers for helping to grow Manheim Express, we’re raising the bar with this free service to make the experience even better for buyers and sellers alike.”

Manheim Express Concierge gives selling dealers an expert to help them on the wholesale sales process, including items like inspection, listing and remarketing strategy consultation.

Here’s how the upgrades will shake out.

When cars are listed by a concierge on Manheim Express, they have always had a badge to designate that there were inspected by a specialist. With the upgrade, they will now also have an official condition grade.

As far as the second enhancement, Manheim is adding  a “Request Concierge Service” button to the seller function of the Manheim Express app. When users punch the button, it automatically sets up a request to the concierge team, which is designed to be fulfilled within 48 hours.

Manheim Express had close to 60,000 users download the app in its first year.

“Launching the Manheim Express app was just the beginning,” Hansen said. “With our dealers top of mind, our team has worked tirelessly to bring even more impactful features and services — and we’re not slowing down anytime soon.”
